Vitamins Aiding in the Cure of Acne

Vitamin A strengthens the protective tissue of the skin and prevents acne. It helps reduce sebum production. This vitamin is essential for the maintenance and repair of the tissue which the skin and mucous membranes are made of. Vitamin A is also a powerful antioxidant needed to rid your body of toxins.

The B vitamins help to maintain healthy skin tone. They are also helpful in relieving anxiety and stress. Stress can be a major player in causing acne. The B vitamins should always be taken together. The vitamins in the B complex are Thiamine, Riboflavin, Niacin (Nicotinic Acid, Niacinamide), Pantothenic Acid, Pyridoxine and Cyanocobalamin.

Apply Tea Tree Oil to pimples about three or four times daily. Tea Tree Oil will help to dry the abcess and allow it to heal. Do not get Tea Tree Oil in the eyes or take internally. Try not to pick or scratch your acne. Scratching and picking acne can cause an increase in acne throughout your body.

Vitamin C is needed for the production of collagen (connective tissue in skin and bones), it also aids the absorption of iron and speeds up healing. The body uses more vitamin C if you smoke or take antibiotics or oral contraceptives. Found naturally in blackcurrant, blackberry, grapefruit, lemon, oranges, brussel sprouts.

Vitamin B6 is essential for the antibody production and the proper functioning of the immune system. Lack of this vitamin can cause acne. It is advised to take 100 mg three times daily as a dose directed by the doctor.

This vitamin is helpful in tissue repair and healing and prevents the excess fats accumulation in the body, cell damage and the formation of the free radicals.

Vitamins for acne control garner noteworthy success for many acne sufferers. Acne is often an outward sign of internal conflict. Your body is literally crying out for what it needs. The implementation of a consistent program to introduce vitamins for acne treatment can dramatically increase your chances of defeating acne.

Vitamin E is also an antioxidant. Although not as strong of one as Vitamin A, Vitamin E still does help to rid the skin of toxins which can lead to acne and helps to clear up existing acne. Vitamin E also promotes tissue repair and healing of the skin, two important aspects that help to both strengthen the skin and also to prevent damage caused by acne to become permanent. Additionally, Vitamin E prevents cell damage by inhibiting the oxidation of lipids (fats) and the formation of free radicals.

The main cause of acne is not that little amount of dirt you see when you wipe your face with a medicated pad. Hormonal imbalance is the real culprit behind most break-outs. Clear5's vitamin B5 acne formula works to counteract this imbalance (fast!) and speeds the elimination of current acne by enhancing the circulation of cells involved in healing. Furthermore, vitamin B5 also has a powerful effect in tightening your pores, transforming oily skin into smooth, healthy skin, and evening your skin tone.

Riboflavin (Vitamin B2) - Riboflavin is essential for maintaining healthy skin, hair, and nails. It helps to strengthen and repair the skin and helps to prevent acne from forming. In addition, Riboflavin also works with Vitamin A to promote a healthy digestive tract.

Vitamin E is wonderful because it gives a boost to the immune system which will certainly aid in the overall health of your whole body and by default your skin. It also regulates vitamin A which is essential in keeping the skin healthy. Credit: www.articlesbase.com
